Crazy Patchwork CD Wallet Tutorial

I've never done a tutorial before but have wanted to give it a try for some time now. It had to be something simple to start with and as I needed a CD wallet to store all the CD's I have scattered around my room, thought this was the perfect project.

It's a FREE tutorial. Here is the link.

If you have any problems with the above link. Just send me an email, found in my profile, and I will send you a copy.

I hope you enjoy making the wallet. I've made two and could do with some more.

If you make one I'd love to see a photo of your creation.

NOTE   I don't mind what you do with the tutorial. You can sell the wallets you make from it, share it, make it for yourself or friends and family, all I ask is that you give me credit for the tutorial by linking back to my blog in some way.

Thank you.
Have fun

  1. Nice tutorial Maria. Thanks for sharing. Great way to use up some fabric scraps too. This would be a nice wallet to keep some applique templates in too if they weren't too large.

  2. Hi Maria, I love your project, I love the idea. I could download the tutorial and I kept it in my files to do it later. It's an original idea, you know I like projects where I can use scraps of fabric, so it is ideal for me. When I will do it, I will link to your site. Thanks for the tutorial, I loved it!!!!

  5. Look at you spitting out a tutorial....you go girl! I have so many part done tutorials that it's just not funny....they're sooooo hard to do if it's an involved project...trying to make it so everyone can understand....I'll get there one day!

Will have to try and fit one of these into my schedule!

  6. This is a great idea, thanks for sharing. This would make a good place to store those individual DVD's that sometimes come as a freebie with a quilt magazine.
