I wanted to make something but didn't have much time or energy to start a large project so made one of these circle pouches.
Very quick and easy to make, probably about an hour. This was made using the tutorial over at

I did think it was a bit on the tiny side so I enlarged the pattern and also put zipper tabs on the ends of the zip. I think it finishes it off better.

Oh I recognize that tutorial - I've made dozens of those now! I must not have "met" you via blogland when you posted this - it's cute! I enlarged mine too - I found it was just a bit too fiddly for my arthritic fingers to work with, so I increased it by 15% to make it easier :D I add batting to mine, and instead of cutting out a circle, I use 6.5" squares, add the zipper, then draw the circle on and stitch around it - it's easier for me that way than to try to match the half circle shapes, lol.
