Not much to say about this wallet as I've made a few and shown you before. Different colours this time. This is a gift for my doctors receptionist.
I made it very quickly last night so it's a quick project. I'm about to start another tonight and this is a special one as it has some of my daughters work included.

it's lovely. clearly we do not share a doctor's surgery. The receptionists at mine (and in fact any doctor's surgery I've been to over the years) are right dragons! They make it almost impossible to make an appointment. You must have got lucky!
ReplyDeleteVery nice.. I'm sure the receipent will love it. I have tried one wallet and it was a epic fail... scared to try again!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Wendy --- at my old doctor's office, the receptionist's favourite trick was to tell people they had to call in the mornings to book appointments for that day, but then she took the phone off the hook first thing because she was too busy to answer the phone. When I needed to see the doc for a prescription renewal and was told I needed to wait 3 weeks to get in, I changed doctors :D I think perhaps my doctor and Wendy's were related, LOL.
ReplyDeleteYour wallet is lovely - I should make something similar for my dermatologist's receptionist - she's so kind and helpful when I call or go in - she's a great asset to his office!
Great job , Maria! Lovely fabrics combinations.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week!

ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful creation! Your doctor's receptionist is lucky.
ReplyDeleteI have the same question that Linda, where I can get this pattern? What impresses me is that you've done this wallet in one night, I would take me one week "minimum". You did a beautiful job, thanks for sharing!
Marisa.
Lucky Dr's receptionist, Maria. Your stitching is SO neat and even.
