Pencil Case & Potholders

These two projects took no time at all.

The pencil case I had ready made from a long time ago but was never happy with it just being black so held onto it until I could decorate it a bit. A pretty flower and some buttons was the easy option.
You can find the tutorial for the pencil case HERE.

And you can find the tutorial for the flowers HERE.

These potholders are really quick to make and you can find my tutorial for them HERE.

Stay with me I still have more to show you.

  1. Yes the flower and buttons do brighten up the pencil case and the colors pop against the black fabric. I remember your tutorial on the potholders too. I like those stripes!

  2. HAHA love the colourful potholders! I was sitting here at my coffee table, admiring the zipper pouch and thinking to myself ... ooOOooo sweet shape - very pretty and feminine. Then it occurred to me that it looks very familiar - when I clicked on your link, I realized that I've made this same bag before, for gifts! Mine have been patchworked to use scraps, so that's why I didn't recognize it right away! Your version is lovely - the colourful buttons and flower give it the perfect kick :)
