I just couldn't wait to show you my Scottie dog. I'm giving it to my friend as a gift for her baby with the quilt I made for her. I figured she's too busy taking care of her new baby daughter to be looking at my blog to see what I'm up to.
Meet Scottie
Patchwork on both sides. I had so much fun making him I don't want to give him away.
If you'd like to make one for yourself or someone else here is the link to the tutorial.
Now I'd best go check on lunch before hubby comes. Don't want burnt offerings or I'll be in the dog house. LOLL

ReplyDeleteHe (or is it she, lol?) is so cute Maria! I love those bright cheerful colors of fabrics that you used. A woman in one of my groups taught how to make these over a year ago.

ReplyDeleteVery cute indeed Maria! :)
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't be so bad to be in the doghouse with Patchydog, lol! He's cute - that's a pattern I've admired for a while, but I wondered how difficult it would be to do the (gusset?) - it looks a bit nerve-wracking!
ReplyDeleteMARIA, A "SCOTTIE DOG' IS NEVER ONE UNTIL A BIT OR TARTAN CAN BE
